As a typical English geek, I've always been fascinated by words and the power they have, from building bridges to tearing them down. My lifelong passion for language led to an English degree, focusing on media, psychology, linguistics and literature.
When the time came to turn my back on student life, I became a journalist, working in the finance sector and honing my craft of both long and short-form copy. But after 15 months, I was hungry for a new adventure in a new industry. I took on a role as a copywriter with creative tech agency Rehab, immediately working on projects with well-known clients and taking on creative lead responsibilities within a year.
In my downtime, I'm never far from a book, a notepad or a yoga mat – depending on my mood! I love music, writing for my blog, hanging out with my rescue dog Dougie, and chilling with mates and family. That's what life's about.
